Hang Ups has framed several items for me, including a large landscape and portraits. I have been pleased with the workmanship of these frames. Jessica was very helpful in helping me select the frames and matting. I would have no hesitation in using Hang Ups again in the future, and would readily recommend them to anyone who needs quality framing and expert assistance.

Hang Ups has a great selection for custom frames, and Jessica Howard does an amazing job of getting them made perfect. Plus they also even provide local photography, where you can pick out pictures taken of not only of Augusta but surrounding areas as well. And you can even make requests of their landscape photographer if you need pictures of places they have yet to get on file. It's definitely a good place to go if you're wanting to decorate your house or your office with something made just for it.

While I know of Hang-Ups, and seen their work, it’s a bit of a drive from me and Michael’s is closer and supposedly cheaper. I was just getting a puzzle framed so I didn’t need any high-end framing, just something custom to fit it. I had a 70% off coupon, figured it wouldn’t be so bad. I got a basic unadorned frame, plain white matting, and it still ended up being around $170. Of course, we found out later we hadn’t got all the basics, they just didn’t inform us that there were cheaper versions of the things we picked out, which is what we had wanted for something as silly as a puzzle. By the time we found out it was too late to cancel the order fully, and still got stuck with just the frame. I ended up sending it to Hang-Ups to finish it off, if for no other reason than I just didn’t want to give another cent of my money to Michael’s. Guess how surprised I was to find that Hang-Ups let me know right off the bat the different sorts of glass and mats they had so I could know which one would be the best for what I was wanting done. And in the end added up to be better priced than Michael’s with their supposed 70% off deal. It’s clearly better to go to someone who knows what they’re doing, who is open and honest with the customer, and who does quality work worth the money you pay. So, if you’re like me and think going to some place like Michael’s will be easier and cheaper, you’re sorely mistaken.
