I think anyone who has been here has to agree the view is so beautiful. Its easy to get taken by the view. Its also a great are to walk your animals
Beautiful area. Very scenic paved walking trail that follows the river. Play area available. Lots of seating areas. Perfect lunch spot.
Specifically went to the gift shop 5th Street Marina owned by Beth Christian. Very nice. You can rent pontoon boats and go on a guided Segway tour with Georgia-Lina Glides!!
Great for friends or alone time. Long enough to go running on but short enough were you don't get terribly lost. Beautiful view of lake houses and of course the river. The play area for kids is so awesome a lot of teens play there too. Many stopping points for you to see as you walk. Plenty of shade for those who get hot quickly. The amphitheater is my favorite part, by far though. The lighting is beautiful. Sometimes I go down onto the stage and pretend I am a big celebrity and that the seats are full of people but really only my friends are on the front row watching me be goofy. Good for romantic walks. Walks with plenty of friends. Kid friendly. Wheelchair accessible. Beautiful. Honestly, if you stop in Augusta and don't go to the Riverwalk, you really didn't stop in Augusta at all.
This is a great place for me to go on my lunch break and get some exercise when it is nice out. I like watching the trains pass.
