Came here while visiting from D.C. and heard great things from my family about the food. The service was a No for me. The cashier laughed at me when I misread the misspelled menu. I couldn’t get sides larger than a 4oz cup even though 6oz cups were set out. I could go on but I’ll just say I could’ve spent my $26 better for how I was treated #supportingblackbusinesses

I grew up eating this bbq. It's really good you should try the pulled pork with skins on it
Perry's has been around a long time and the bbq sandwich with the crushed skin is great and they are pretty consistent with their food. Is it the best bbq in Augusta Idk. I would give a 3.5 star but I still have a problem with the building or housekeeping and food handling. Don't get me wrong the building actually looks better now than I did years ago. However, knowing that my food is prepare in a hot dingy little building with all the staff sweating and preparing my food in the this little confined space, I am just saying. But again the bbq is good and if you don't mind eating from a rustic old dive have at it. I went there just a few weeks ago myself.
