My mother is at Walton rehabailtion. She is in a semi private room and needs to be moved to a private room. The room she is in isn't very clean the paint on the walls are peeling. Looks like it hasn't ever been updated. The only thing in the room that has been updated has been the bathroom. I will be glad to post some pictures of this room. Trust me it isn't a room on the virtual tour so we need to add these rooms also to the pictures. I was told I would get a call back this was at 930am. Still no phone call and it is almost 500pm. If someone could help me please have them call me. I could keep on but I won't. Thank you and I hope she is moved to the private room that is empty. I changed the rating they have corrected the problem. And we're very nice about pleasing the patient plus the family. I do have to say everybody there does always have a smile which is wonderful.
Everyone here is totally committed to the patient. The employees are smiling and always happy. Numerous have been here for over 16-20years. That speaks well for for being fulfilled on their job.

My daddy was there for 21 days they only care about the money my daddy was sitting for hours without being checked on he was so saturated in urine that the mat in his wheelchair was constantly wet the place is under staffed so bad you ring for a nurse and have to wait 10 to 15 minutes before someone finally calls and ask how can they help you I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
My father a US ARMY 20 year retired veteran was sent here for rehab after a stroke. While admitted here, he was left in the shower for several hours, then the next day fell from his chair causing him to break his hip and require hip replacement surgery. They delayed treatment (x-ray) and simply drugged him up for his pain. After more complaints, they identified the fracture and transferred him to another facility. My family made complaints to all levels of the rehab center and there were drastic changes made after his discharge. My father who is not homeless was housed with homeless patients and treated very poorly. Homeless or not, only allowing patients to shower once a week is NOT right. I'll be providing updates daily as I learn more. Tomorrow I will be asking for their policy letters on patient showers, patients being left unattended, and several other items that should be readily available. If there not, I'll write down names to report to the Joint Commission and the Richmond County Ombudsman.
